History

In 2003, Terry McKenzie successfully created his own mitigation bank, Martin Creek. During development of the bank—from permitting to credit sales—he learned to navigate an ever-evolving process that involved ecologists, biologists, and foresters, as well as all levels of government, private industry, and nonprofit organizations. Using his expertise in the complex emerging field of mitigation banking, Terry founded Mitigation Solutions USA in 2007.

In 2008, MSUSA developed a relationship with Advanced Ecology that provides us with extensive natural resource expertise. This relationship greatly enhances our ability to provide ecological solutions to our clients by reinforcing our company's knowledge and experience in wetlands, streams and endangered species.
